New Year opportunities in the One Stop Shop

This time of year, when we're all shopped out, can be difficult for businesses who sell goods and services to the general public.
During these tough trading times, finditinsandwell is not only supporting business-to-business companies in the area as usual, but we're keen to stimulate the business-to-consumer market too.
Following the success of our Credit Crunch Lunch, Trade Fair in the Square and Christmas Fayre & Party in the Square in 2009, we're arranging for local businesses to take up valuable exhibition space in the One Stop Shop area of Sandwell Council House in Oldbury.
For the hundreds of employees and members of the public who pass through the Council House doors every day, we want to:
* introduce them to regional produce, goods and services, and an exciting range of local businesses right here in Sandwell
* give them discounts and offer affordable incentives to shop with local companies
* show them how spending money with local traders provides a much-needed business boost to the area
* introduce them to key people in local retail.
For Sandwell business owners like you, we want to:
* help you showcase your company to hundreds of people who live and work in Sandwell
* allow you to promote your business with a small discount scheme or incentive for local shoppers
* help you to open your business up to a potential new customer base and make stronger links with the people who influence how your borough is run.
Available dates for January include Friday 15, Friday 22 and Friday 29. February is booked up, but other Fridays in 2010 are available.
