Aston University: Graduate Bursary Placement Scheme
Aston University is offering a free recruitment service to businesses throughout the West Midlands. The Graduate Bursary Placement Scheme not only sources graduates according to your individual business requirements but also provides a bursary to assist with the salary costs.
The aim of the scheme is to introduce the skills of graduates to West Midlands businesses and, crucially, to help more businesses recruit, train and retain graduates by offering them
free recruitment and training.
The scheme allows you to take on graduates on a full-time or part time basis from 4 weeks up to 12 months, for short or long-term projects. The bursary offered to help cover the cost of a salary is worth up to
£800 per recruit.
It is possible to extend the duration of a placement or even recruit the graduate on a permanent basis, free of charge.
As the UK gradually emerges from recession, the scheme offers your business an easy and affordable way to gain knowledge and new skills. It allows graduates to develop their experience by undertaking graduate-level work.
